"hier geht er in den Schranken. - Der trägt ihm sein Zeug (Waffen) vor."

See Talhoffer 1459, tafel 84 verso.

Here they both sit in the Enclosure and await the onset and each has his bier behind him and his herald (second) in front of him.
See Talfoffer 1459 tafel 85 recto.

Vortreten und uber den Schenkel werfen (Ringen).
Step forward and throw over the thigh. (wrestle)
This is an advanced stage move. It shows a close fight where one combatant is attempting an ankle wrench with his quillons. His opponent is in a stance which seems to suggest he went from a half sword glancer (schielhau) to a neck hold in the crook of his elbow. He can now forcefully pull back into a thigh throw.
Both swords are on the ground (auf dem boden). This is a pure grapple.
The open blow almost looks like a right handed punch, or maybe just an open handed rush. The response is lunge forward, cross clench, and twist right and down. This will put three points down.
Ein Zweifelstoss (Stellung zu verschiedenen Stossen); Der rechte Stand (Stefflung) in der North. - Der will nahekampfen; Der steht in seinem Vortheif ohne Waffen.
A Pair of Thrusts (Poses in different Thrusts); - The right hand fighter stands (warding) in advantage . - He intends to close fight; He stands in position to respond without a weapon.
Here are two stances which respond to two different situations.
On the left we see a threat to murderstrike. The response to this seems to be wait and rush in under the arc of the blow. The combatant on the right is doing so in a pretense to pommel strike with a half sword grip.
On the right we see a threat to close and strike an unarmed opponent with a half sword thrust. The unarmed man stands ready to rush and grapple.
Here we see the point.
